• District workshop on implementation and enforcement of TC Law- June 2015:

Two district workshops on implementation and enforcement of TC law was held in June 2015. A workshop at Chapainawabganj was arranged in the conference room of Office of Deputy Commissioner on 24^th June, 2015 where 42 participants had attended.

Another District workshop at Lalmonirhat was arranged in the conference room of Office of Deputy Commissioner on 28^th June, 2015 where 41 participants had attended.

• District workshop on implementation and enforcement of TC Law- August 2015:

Two district workshops on implementation and enforcement of TC law was held in August 2015. A workshop was arranged at Bandarban in the conference room of Office of Deputy Commissioner on 19^th August, 2015 where 43 participants had attended.

Another District workshop was arranged at Manikganj in the conference room of Office of Deputy Commissioner on 31^st August, 2015 where 41 participants had attended.

• Capacity Building Training for District Sanitary Inspectors- September 2015:

Total 64 district sanitary inspectors were trained in the capacity building training on implementation and enforcement of TC law from 6-7 September 2015.

• Workshop for Industry Inspector- January 2016:

One day long workshop for Industry Inspector was held on 25 January 2016 to develop guideline for Authorized officers for implementation and enforcement of Tobacco Control Law. Thirty two Inspectors were present at the workshops.

• Divisional Workshops on Implementation and Enforcement of TC Law- January 2016:

Two day long workshops on implementation and enforcement of Tobacco Control law were held in Dhaka and Rangpur Division in January 2016. Ninety nine participants were present in the workshops. Preparatory works for Chittagong Divisional Workshop was done in this month which will be held on 3^rd February 2016 at Bandarban District.

• Divisional Workshops on Implementation and Enforcement of TC Law- February 2016:

Two day long workshops on implementation and enforcement of Tobacco Control law were held one at Bandarban and another at Barisal Division in February 2016. Ninety Seven participants were present in the workshops. Preparatory works for Mymensingh and Khulna divisional workshops was done in this month which will be held on 1st March at Mymensingh and 3rd March 2016 at Khulna.

• Divisional Workshops on Implementation and Enforcement of TC Law- March 2016:

Day long workshops on implementation and enforcement of Tobacco Control law were held at Mymensingh, Khulna and Barisal Division in March 2016. One hundred twenty nine participants were present in the workshops. Recommendations of the workshops was compiled and placed to the Project Director for approval. After approval of the recommendations it was sent to the respective divisions on requesting them to implement and enforcement of TC law.

• Meeting of the focal points of different ministries on Implementation of Tobacco Control Law and Tobacco Control Rules- June 2016:

On 28 June there was a meeting of the focal points of different ministries on Implementation of Tobacco Control Law and Tobacco Control Rules.

• Capacity Building Training of Magistrates on Implementation of Tobacco Control Law- November 2016:

The “Capacity Building Training of Magistrates on Implementation of Tobacco Control Law” was organized on 23-24^th November 2016 in two batches. 37 Magistrates from across the country attended the program in 2 days. WHO, Bangladesh have funded the program.

• With the financial support from WHO Bangladesh and technical support from the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), NTCC organized training for sanitary inspectors on tobacco control law enforcement on 30-31 October 2017. 33 Sanitary inspectors attended in this training.
