Supervisory Visit on 2015-16

On 2015-2016:

National Tobacco Control Cell conducted a supervisory visit by district level officials on smoke free law implementation. In each district two government officials visited 2 public places with a structured check list. The objective of the visit was to determine the impact of the smoke free provisions of the law and instructions were sent to the officials to make their premises smoke free. By 30 April 2015, 42 supervisory visit checklists out of 64 districts were received. All program officers of NTCC have followed up for receiving the rest of checklists from districts level. After receiving all checklists, it was compiled and comprehensive reports were prepared to see the trend of progress of monitoring compliance of public places of districts.

On July 2015 National Tobacco Control Cell planned 12 supervisory visits in seven administrative divisions. One high officials of Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and one program officer of NTCC performed the visit. After performing the visit, a recommendation report with major findings was prepared. A report was placed in a national taskforce meeting for implementation of the recommendations.

On January 2016 ministry high officials and Program Officers of National Tobacco Control Cell had materialized two supervisory visits at Dinajpur and Rangpur districts. Recommendation report with major findings were prepared and placed at the National Taskforce committee meeting.

On February 2016 ministry high officials and Program Officers of National Tobacco Control Cell had materialized eight supervisory visits at Bandarban, Tangail, Commilla, Satkhira, Barisal, Patuakhali,  Jessore and Sunamganj districts.  Recommendation report with major findings were prepared and placed at the National Taskforce Committee meeting.

On March 2016 ministry high officials and Program Officers of National Tobacco Control Cell had materialized six supervisory visits at Mymensingh, Khulna, Kurigram, Jessore, Barisal and Sylhet districts.  Recommendation report with major findings were prepared and placed at the National Taskforce Committee meeting.
